After 10 sessions with Kristin, I am already achieving the results I want. I look and feel stronger and I am challenged in new way. In April of this year (2017), I was rapidly approaching 60 and hadn’t worked out on a regular basis in 15 years.  I have type II diabetes am overweight and have a family history of rheumatoid arthritis.  I am not as driven as I used to be and over the years have joined gyms but have not been able to stick to it on my own.  I decided that it was time to try a personal trainer.  I found Kristin on Thumbtack, sent her a message, and within the next two days I was scheduled to start training twice a week.  At our first session, we talked about my goals, which basically was to improve strength and balance, be more active and not end up hurting myself.  Kristin had me do some basic exercise and she gave me pointers on posture and basic movement.  At the end of the first session, I felt like I worked out but I was not pushed so hard that I did not want to come back which was key for me.

The thing I like most is that each session is different so I am always challenged and never find it boring or repetitive.  Working out with Kristin has ended being the best decision that I could have made and I am lucky that I happened to find her so quickly.  Things that I could not do such as getting in and out of the bathtub, walking up and down steps without holding on to a railing, and getting up from the floor, I can do now with ease.  These things may not be major accomplishments for some but they are huge milestones for me.  I have never felt like Kristin pushed me too far. She consistently encourages me and it drives me to perform. She has taught and continues to teach me how to pay attention to my body and that it will tell me when I can push further or stop.

I can confidently highly recommend Kristin to anyone who is looking for an effective, energetic, diverse workout.
